Contemporary Indian craft fashion: Bandhani, Chikankari, Block prints and artisan textiles reimagined for everyday wear. Launching later this year.
MAYA was created from a simple belief: Indian craftsmanship belongs in everyday wardrobes around the world.
For decades, global fashion has drawn from Indian textiles, embroidery, dyeing techniques and artisanal craft — Bandhani, Chikankari, Block printing, mirror work, Leheriya — yet the stories behind these traditions are often left untold. Too often, they are absorbed into trends, luxury aesthetics, or 'inspired by' collections without credit or context.
India is home to hundreds of textile traditions and craft techniques, each with its own story, history, and way of being made. While a handful have found their way into global fashion, many remain largely undiscovered outside their regions. Through MAYA, the goal is to showcase both familiar and lesser-known Indian crafts, reimagining them through trend-forward silhouettes, playful details, and contemporary design — making heritage feel fresh, effortless, and genuinely wearable.
We believe Indian craftsmanship deserves more than special occasions. It deserves coffee runs, dinner dates, holidays, office days and everything in between. Heritage should move, evolve, travel and become part of people's everyday lives.
Because Indian craftsmanship doesn't belong just in luxury, archives or occasional collections.
It belongs in wardrobes. For everyone. Everywhere. Every day.
